# ProductPerch > ProductPerch (productperch.com) is a free product launch platform, a smaller and fairer alternative to Product Hunt for indie makers and open-source projects: products launch on a fixed daily UTC schedule, signed-in members upvote them, and every launch goes out in a daily email digest. How it works: a maker pastes a website URL, an AI drafts the listing (name, tagline, description, features, use cases, FAQ), the maker edits it and books a launch. Each UTC day has 12 free launch slots (3 reserved for open-source projects) and 8 paid slots. Launches go live at 00:00 UTC, voting closes at 24:00 UTC, and the daily digest is emailed at 08:00 UTC. Pricing: a free launch costs $0 and takes the next open free day. A paid Launch uses 1 launch and lets the maker pick a date from tomorrow to 60 days out; Launch + Featured uses 2 launches and adds 7 days in the homepage Featured column (labelled Sponsored) and the digest headline. Launch packs are one-time purchases: 1 launch $19, 3 launches $49 ($16.33 each), 10 launches $129 ($12.90 each). Launches never expire; rejected or cancelled launches are returned automatically; unused launches can be refunded within 14 days. New accounts get no free paid launches; the free launch itself is the free tier. Ranking and links: the leaderboard is ordered by upvotes only (one vote per signed-in account; fake votes are removed before results freeze); paid launches are labelled Featured and are never boosted. A launch link is dofollow when the launch is paid, the project is verified open source (public GitHub repo with an OSI license that provably belongs to the product: the repo or github.io page is the product, or the repo Website field points to the product domain), it finished in the daily top 3, or the ProductPerch badge is verified on the maker’s site; otherwise it is rel="nofollow". Outbound links carry ?ref=productperch. Limits: 3 launches waiting per account, 3 free launches per 30 days, 1 free launch per domain per 30 days, one launch per product per 180 days, 10 AI autofills per day. Software and digital products only.
