Why launch badges matter for free launches
A free launch gets a dofollow link on its product page when our badge is verified on your site; without it the link is nofollow. Paid launches, verified open-source projects and the top 3 of each day get a dofollow link without a badge, so for them the badge is optional and only there to show off a result. We never delist a product because a badge is missing. Read the full link policy.
The badges are plain SVG files with system fonts, 220 by 54 pixels, so they load fast and stay sharp. You can resize them with the width and height attributes; please keep the text readable and do not change the wording.

Where should I put the badge?
On your homepage or in your site footer, as a normal link without rel="nofollow". We check the page your product URL points to and its homepage.
How do you check the badge?
We fetch your page and look for a link to productperch.com that is not marked nofollow. Checks run the day before launch, on launch day and then weekly for 8 weeks. You can also run a check from your dashboard (up to 10 a day).
What happens if I remove the badge?
If a later check cannot find the badge, a free launch link goes back to nofollow. The listing stays up; nothing is deleted.
Can I use the #1 Product of the Day badge?
Only if your launch finished first for its day; the same goes for #2 and #3. Use the badge that matches your result. Results are on the daily results page for your launch date.
