Test My Reading

What is Test My Reading?

Test My Reading is a free online reading speed and comprehension test. Choose a passage, read it at your own pace while a timer runs, then answer a short comprehension quiz. The result shows your words-per-minute next to your quiz accuracy, so you can see whether faster reading costs understanding. Passages come in English and Japanese at several difficulty levels. Basic tests work without creating an account. A Pro plan ($8.99 per month or $49 per year) raises word and quiz limits, adds answer keys with source sentences, gives diagnosis on every result, and syncs a shared monthly AI quiz allowance to the Test My Reading Chrome extension.
