What is Easemic?

Easemic is a free, open-source (Apache-2.0) Android comic and manga reader built in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Instead of filling your phone's storage or locking your library inside a proprietary cloud, Easemic collects galleries and serialized series into storage you already own—Cloudflare R2, Bunny Storage, Backblaze B2, WebDAV, Google Drive, or OneDrive—with optional client-side encryption, and streams pages on demand in milliseconds. It also connects to self-hosted Komga and Kavita servers over OPDS and imports local CBZ/ZIP archives.

Easemic features

  • Stream comics and manga straight from your own R2, Bunny, S3, WebDAV, Google Drive, or OneDrive.
  • Client-side password encryption on your phone before upload so keys never leave your device.
  • Browse and stream from Komga and Kavita OPDS catalogs or import local CBZ/ZIP archives.

Who uses Easemic and for what

  • Comic and manga readers freeing phone storage by streaming from an S3 bucket.
  • Self-hosters connecting a native Android reader to Komga, Kavita, or WebDAV.
